Privacy Policy

Celebration Candles & Cakes (“the App”), made by ChowChow Labs, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the App on iPhone, iPad or Mac.

1. Information stored on your device

The scenes you create — chosen cakes and candles, their positions, colours of the stage, and any name, age or message you type — are stored only on your device. We do not receive them, and they are never sent to advertisers or anyone else.

2. No account required

The App does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or microphone input.

3. Advertising

The free version of the App on iPhone and iPad shows ads provided by Google AdMob: banner and native ads on browsing screens, and a short full-screen ad before a celebration starts. No ads appear while a celebration is playing. Google may collect and use certain information, such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and app information, and ad interaction data, to deliver and measure ads. If you allow tracking when the App asks, ads may be more relevant to you; if you decline, ads are not personalised using your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. In regions where it is required, the App asks for your consent through Google’s consent message, and you can change your choice later from the App’s Settings. Learn more in Google’s advertising policy. Premium users do not see ads. The Mac version does not show ads.

4. Purchases

Premium (a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple tells the App whether Premium is active so the full collection can be unlocked.

5. Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell your personal information. The only third-party services that receive data from the App are Google AdMob, as described above, and Apple for purchases.

6. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data retention and deletion

Because your scenes stay on your device, you can delete them at any time in the App’s Settings (Reset all scenes) or by deleting the App.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a new effective date.
